Josette began her study of dance in classical ballet in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. After completing her dance exams with the Royal Academy of Dancing and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, she auditioned to study with the Amsterdam Scapino Ballet Company. She moved to Phoenix in 1989 and since 1994 she has studied flamenco with local artists: Dini Roman and Lydia Torea. Her performances include appearances at Pepin's Spanish Restau-rant in Scottsdale with 'Zona' Flamenco Dance Company, the Scottsdale Arts Festival, private functions, conventions and numerous concert appearances in the Valley.

Joey began his studies in flamenco with local artists: Lydia Torea and Dini Roman. He recently returned from Spain where he refined his flamenco studies with the master choreographer Manolo Marin and Xavier Cruz of "Compania Andeluz". His performances include appearances in the Nutcracker, the Phoenix Symphony Spring Concert Program and New Years Eve Gala and Carmen in conjunction with the Arizona Opera Company. He also performed as a company dancer in Flamenco Fireworks with Maria Benitez and Lydia Torea at Symphony Hall. Returning from Spain, he has been a soloist in prominent local flamenco establishments.
